ABOUT

Waerice Vandree was born in Menzoberranzan. Her mother died in childbirth, carrying with her the secret that her daughter was a child of Bhaal. Though one of very few Bhaal worshippers in the underdark and a bit of a black sheep in drow terms, her mother was still a daughter of house Vandree and that made Waerice one as well. Furthermore, her being a Szarkai (albino) Drow meant she was automatically taken in by the family to be raised as the perfect assassin for missions to the world above.

CHARACTER

Whether through Lolth's influence or some other means, Waerice was unaffected by her divine blood for most of her life. Around the time of the Bhaalspawn crisis however, she began behaving erratically as her blood began calling her. She slowly became sloppy and over-eager in her assassinations to the point she was more of a burden to the Vandree family than a boon. Thinking Lolth had forsaken her the family put a hit on Waerice themselves, but by then she was long gone- disappeared under the city of Baldur's gate to be with her true 'family' in the cult of Bhaal. Though the tadpole made her forget her time in the cult, it gave her a chance to reposition herself as Bhaal's chosen and the all-powerful ruler of the cult alongside her wife in blood, Minthara.

TRIVIA

• Thinks goblins are adorable.
• Unlike others in the cult like Orin, she dislikes when killing is overly messy and prefers control and subterfuge (much to her father's chagrin).
• Imagine her sort of as a rich mob wife who has her previous husbands buried under the garage.
