She likes to dance and sing, only when alone though

Singing is the easiest way for her to push emotion to her voice.

She rarely ever gets angry, she stays calm 99% of the time. She does get annoyed though, you can see it on her face.

Friendly and caring, though she is very blunt and seemingly an emotionless robot.

Likes reading, poems, puzzles, riddles, dancing, singing, music that has this traditional-Japanese/Chinese tune to it, and peaceful nights

Loves Japanese gardens and basically any garden with a lake/pond in it.

She probably visits the temple/shrine a lot and hangs around there.

Good at melee/close combat and will fight you.

Good swimmer, she can probably breath underwater too but she says she cant

Has zero flirting skills. She doesn't know how to respond to advances on her either.

Can read and predict the actions of others.

Has grown used to pain, especially the pain of the peonies between her scale.

She doesn't know how technology works and is very bad at working with it. She destroyed a vending machine once because it wouldn't give her a drink.

Often feels lonely, but she never admits it.

Reimei was born and raised in a shrine. The Kannushi took care of her and acted as a father figure to her. He really liked peonies, he tends to the peony garden often because it was his deceased wife's favorite flower. He told Reimei that the peonies mean courage and honor. Reimei was a very bright and active child, but her voice was always quiet. On some joyful nights, she would sing while stargazing with the Kannushi, who said he enjoyed hearing her sing. On her birthday, she received an customized ao dai from the Kannushi, and she was always seen wearing it ever since. She received education from the Kannushi, and read a lot of books that she found on her free time, but she never went to a public school due to fear of leaving the only place she knew. She didn't have much contact with society outside of the shrine, and didn't have much friends except for the shrine maidens she met. She would help maintain the shrine and prepare for festivals, but she was always scared of participating in the festivals. The day she finally gathered the courage to participate, she met her lifelong friend, Akane. But after the festival, the shrine was burned down and the Kannushi was killed in the fire. Reimei was invited to stay at a shrine maiden's home until the shrine was rebuilt. During that time, she cried her heart out and found it difficult to smile and be happy. And when the shrine was rebuilt, Reimei was allowed to stay at the shrine again, but under the care of a new Kannushi. The new Kannushi was a girl who was rumored to be an exiled member of the Yakuza looking for a new path to follow. The Kannushi didn't talk to Reimei very much and they barely spent any time together, but she took care of Reimei anyway. Reimei wouldn't stay in the shrine house for too long and she would often go outside to take care of the peony garden and mourn. She would also wander the forest beyond the garden and visit other shrines.

Eventually she is forced to go to school by the Kannushi, and livens up more.
