Magpieflight's Cry

A loner without a calling, always frantically on the move from place to place in an attempt to escape their tradegy-struck past. Settling in Windclan made no difference, as the stars above taunted them with omens and prophecies, knowing fully well Magpieflight's inability to understand their gleeful, jeering screams. Starclan gave this ex-loner a cruel clan life, and Magpieflight is at their breaking point. Their mental-health is gnawing viciously on their heart, almost like a punishment for the grave mistake they're unable to run from. As moons go by, they start growing resentful at their revered ancestors and it is only a matter of time before they've had enough.

Origin

They drew their first tiny breaths inside the uncomfortable walls of a kitty mill. The inside was hot, crowded, and secluded from the outside world; a place Magpie never knew was beyond the walls. Magpie was only born for one purpose; for their breed. Owning a cat like them is a luxury to the two-legs. Their breed also served as a very quick, easy way to make a very comfortable couple-grand. Their mother served as their getaway from reality. Fir'd tell them stories and sing soothing melodies to their ears, putting on a brave face for them so Magpie would feel safe in their surrounding. But they couldn't escape the real world forever. Magpie was of age to be sold off, and their mother was getting gradually sicker as time progressed. Would Magpie accept this fate? How could they give the two-legs what they want? The more they thought about it, the more determined Magpie grew to escape the kitty mill with their mother. They just had to figure out how. Luckily for Magpie, they didn't need to give it much thought, as their clumsy two-leg left their cage unlocked. As Magpie pushed the cage open, the sudden wails and screams of the cats around them burst into the clearing, all begging Magpie and their mother to take them with the two. The commotion riled the two-leg handler, and Magpie and their mother only had a few moments to escape and needed to make it count. They scrambled to the nearest window, attempting desperately to pry it open further. There was only a tiny crack to escape from, but it had to be done. As they pushed themselves through the small opening, the rumbling steps of the yowling two-leg came behind them menacingly, too close for comfort. Their mother squeezed through, but Magpie only had a few seconds of borrowed time to follow after fir. The two-leg's claws pulled and yanked at their fur, but it sent enough adrenaline through their veins to squeeze through. The two cats scrambled to flee the scene as they heard the two-leg's frustrated hollor fade away with distance. They were finally free.
