•プライドが高い: 自尊心が強く、それを傷つけられるのを許せない。
•甘党: 甘いものが大好物で、甘い香りを嗅ぐとすぐ近くにいると分かるほど。ホカ村の特産品も、ホッカイロの影響で甘い加工品が主流になっている。
•怪力: 見た目に反して非常に力が強く、重い物を簡単に持ち上げられる。
•弱点: 反射神経が鈍いため、俊敏さが求められる動きは苦手。

•冷えピタ
冷えピタを大切に思い、彼を傷つける者には容赦しない。冷えピタに危害が及ぶとすぐに駆けつけ、敵を徹底的に制裁する。
特に寺子屋で冷えピタをいじめるニセピタ（ユリちゃん）をボコボコにしているが、ニセピタに恋心を抱いていることに気づいていない。
最近は冷えピタに嫌われるのではないかという不安から、お金を渡して関係を繋ぎ止めようとしている。しかし、それが良くないことだと内心では分かっている。

ホッカイロを尊敬し、いつも付きまとっている存在。ホッカイロは興味がないためウザがっているが、アセビからもたらされる情報の質が高いため仕方なく許している。

パパはホッカイロの憧れであり、大好きな存在。父親から深く愛されており、ホッカイロ自身もそれに応えるべく努力している。
