Lorcán

Very few faunids ever seen Lorcán these days. In his youth, he was the very heart of Hernlak - He'd help with anything that needed doing in the city's center, from helping others with their cooking or cleaning, to babysitting the fawns while their parents went off to work, to helping others with their shopping. Now, his existence is little more than a rumor, and when he is spoken of, few remember the kindness he once showed the city.

Lorcán made himself an outcast the second his dear brother Reizoh corrupted. Although Reizoh has no memory of who Lorcán is, Lorcán could never abandon his older brother. Even after Reizoh permanently maimed him, ripping off his arm in a hunger-crazed frenzy, Lorcán believed he could be saved. As his brother descended further into his madness, Lorcán tried his hardest to save him, having heard rumors of corrupts being able to de-corrupt and come back to Herne once again. To stay close to his brother, Lorcán pretended to be one of his converts, earning him a sour reputation back in Hernlak.

He is completely isolated from faunids he once called friends back in Hernlak, dedicating himself to the study of Herne in hopes of finding some way to bring his happy, warm, kind brother back to him. He lives in a small cottage on the outskirts of Hernlak, right on the border of the charred woodlands that house Ghosgate, which is decorated with all sorts of protective talismans that keep the more violent corrupts away.
