Browlet

The browlet grew up in a rough family unit. He wasn't anything special at this age, and he was commonly told that by others around him. He just needed to help where we could while also trying to make the most of his rapidly disappearing childhood. Mostly he noticed that his family always seemed to be looking over their shoulders.

Fledgling

In his adolescence Callisto watched as his family unit was torn asunder. First their debts came back to haunt them via threats, then they'd started to show up with mysterious injuries, and then finally members seemed to just end up dead or gone. Callisto managed to slip away along with a few other stragglers before the same fate could befall them. From there they seemed to fly under the radar. He wasn't sure who had put so much pressure onto his family, but he was determined to find out and return the favor when he was capable.

Young Adult

Callisto had grown into quite the attractive bird. He'd been such a scruffy thing as a browlet, but now that he'd finally grown up he'd bloomed into his prime. This served him well and changed his life when the right pair of eyes landed on him. Callisto was swallowed into the world of modeling where his life turned upsidedown. For the first time he had money in bulk. He had food, clothes, lavish goods that were actually his to own and a social circle that wasn't a reminder of the past. He lived hard and fast during this time.
Eventually his connections had finally paid off in a way he couldn't have predicted. Callisto's own circle seemed to rub elbows with some fairly prolific individuals and when his brain broke down the walls to remember his past he was staring at one of the monsters that had destroyed his family. He didn't give a reaction or let on that he knew the man, just that he wanted an audience with him. The wish was granted and the two met up after hours. When the meeting was set to be complete only one individual left the room.
News travelled fast and Callisto was quickly called in once the body was discovered. He claimed it hadn't been him who'd actually killed the man, but instead it must have happened after he'd left. His alibi was strong, albeit fabricated, due to making sure he had made a scene later in a bar. Everyone had seen him, so how could it have been him who'd killed the man? Whatever charges or investigation that was going on seemed to go cold or simply peter out. Perhaps the man had more enemies than Callisto anticipated, and instead he had just done them all a favor by pulling the trigger. The bird, having a new air of attention surrounding him and pumping his personal reputation, liked this fact.
He soon left the world of modeling and began to look for a new career path. His infamy paid his bills, so he wasn't in a rush to stop resting on his laurels, but he soon ran into another browbird by the name of Axel. The rockstar took him under his wind before he introduced him to the ring of bounty hunters he overlooked. Like a match made in hell, Callisto joined up with him.

Adult | Current

Time had passed and Callisto eventually separated himself from Axel's shadow. He left the group that had taught him so much with a bit of a chip on his shoulder and he seemed eager to one up his old boss. Callisto often took contracts from other upper class individuals since it was a world he knew well. His connections paid off and eventually he was given an audience with Percival, the crowned prince of a planet that had only recently opened up to outsiders. The news was abuzz with their strange new alliance and the two agreed to help one another out with their troubled pasts.

Aspects

• Metal: Callisto, first and foremost, uses guns.
  The browbird never had a strong pull one way or the other on his aspects. He never even learned what his second one was! He doesn't talk about this and keeps the fact that he's a late bloomer very close to his chest. Instead if people do ask he tends to tell them that they're just being nosy and looking for a way to one up him should they ever cross paths.
  For those who know him past his surface they would know his aspect is metal. He uses it here and there to bend a bullet that was set off track or to restain someone or to fit jewelry better to his form. He always wears many bracelets of different kinds of metals that he can bend, warp and use to his advantage when needed. But the man loves his guns more than anything else.

• Callisto keeps tabs on the group that had extorted his family so he can slowly pick them off one by one. While one of their lead members had been killed, the others are still a thorn in his side.
• The browbird keeps trophies from most of his hits. He tends to keep horns, masks, bones and sometimes even amputated body parts if they're unique enough. He has quite a macabre trophy room.
• Despite having quite a lot of money and sway the browbird seems to live paycheck to paycheck at times. He spends in large quantities and then is forced to pick up another hit to cover the bill.
• Callisto has a very, very fancy ship that he will gladly destroy someone over if they so much as scratch it.
• The browbird has a complicated past with his old boss Axel. Rumor has it they were courting one another for a time before something between them shifted into a rivalry.
