Silence wasn't always known by the name Silent Stalker but rather [insert pup name]. However his father didn't like his constant chatter so he ripped the pup's vocal cords (or fed him something to paralyzed his voice box). The pup was renamed a while later to Silent Stalker. As his father seemed to always refer to him as Silence.
