Mango is a mixed (african, indian, and white) female wlw(hasnt figured out her sexuality) who is 14 years old during freshman year. she uses she/her. mangos best friends are ray and chae-yeong, and she has a crush on ray basically from the beginning of their friendship. they met when mango+chae-yeong and ray literally tripped over each other in the hallway. mango is popular, and chae-yeong is constantly trying to get mango a s/o so they can go on double dates. when they all realized what happened chae-yeong started trying to get them to be friends, even though ray is a shy artist type who wears paint stained pants all the time and mango is top of the class and in cheer. by the end of freshman year ray and mango confess and start dating, though the majority of the year they were silently crushing.
