My True Gemsona
A reliable Zircon who walks through the world with a pursuit of trying to make it better even in small ways. She’s a rather empathetic and social gem, excelling in creating friends around every corner and communicating often with ease. She’s a creative force to be reckoned with, enjoying writing as a favorite pastime.
While she isn’t the strongest gem out there, her high versatility and decent endurance more than make up for it. Being able to persist in most situations lends well to her strong abilities in leadership. From problem-solving, to adaptability to thriving in collaborative spaces, Skylark is a gem who can lead others any day.

Many of the gems in her story mimic people close to me in real life.
A Zircon who formed within the depths of a bright kindergarten surrounded by Peridots, Demantoids and other kindergarteners. Zircons tend to come in pairs, however Skylark’s creation was a tad different. She formed alongside many other types of gems as the kindergarten was an experiment to see how many types of gems could be formed in one area.
Forming alone gave her the interesting duty and knowledge to be both a prosecution and defense attorney. So using her knowledge she instead decided to become a freelance attorney, taking up any court cases, from civil to criminal. From day one she’s worked within the Illuminous Courthouse under one of the judges there.
Today she works and lives in the heart of the homeworld. The courthouse she works in is on the main strip of life, so she is able to experience many things. In her time she’s met so many gems and considers lots of them to be lifelong friends. She has parental figures in the form of a married couple of a Purple Willemite and an Evergreen Emerald. Simply exploring the wonders of life in the Empire, she seeks to understand the gems around her, loyalist, neutralist, or rebel.
- Always wears her glasses, they are supposed to be oversized.
- Has three outfits: Everyday, Formal and more Casual Attire, all seen in her gallery.
- She has a number of accessories she can be drawn with, mainly her parasol.
- She isn’t a pure purple, she’s got a very slight blue undertone to her.
- Can wear both flats and heels.
- Always has some form of gold accent to her, never seen with JUST purple.
- Her eyes are a sharp purple, but are obscured by her tinted glasses.
- No matter the outfit, she always has some form of lace scarf/jabot. Her gemstone will never sit free on her lower neck.
“I love her very much, Dark Forest is the best mom a gem can ask for!”
Her beloved mother! Dark Forest is always there for Skylark in her darkest moments and the two are able to have deep talks she isn’t able to have with anyone else. This Emerald is a rather independent one, currently a writer as she’s taken a break from commanding fleets.
“He’s such a kind soul and does a lot to support me in any way he can!”
Her dear father! Willemite is someone who Skylark knows she can go to anytime to simply hang out. From sitting on the floor and having long talks about stars knows what, to jumping across the galaxy to their favorite arcade!
These guys! I have so many I can barely count anymore, but I still know all of them by heart!
These little critters are Skylark’s darling companions, they follow her around everywhere and keep her company. Each is programmed with their own personality and overall they provide Skylark a high level of companionship so she’s never alone as she saddens easily when alone.
All of them are so unique, I’m one lucky Zircon to have so many wonderful gems serving me.
Skylark has a number of attendants and gems in service to her. These range from Quartzes, Pearl, a few pebbles and more as her small court is ever growing. She has feelings about each one, but overall those feelings are quite positive!
