Intune with the waves of space time, Ming-Yue travels the vast celestial sea. She enjoys finding large celebrations, drawn to the lights, food, and cheerful noise. Since her creator’s slumber began she had felt like a lost child, following one bright shiny thing to the next. Until one time while in between places she felt drawn to a stale mooncake under the flickering of a near fully melted candle. It felt like something she had always been drawn towards. Something so familiar and foreign at the same time. “The candle must never be allowed to melt this much.” And she found herself.
Folklore
It’s said if a child becomes lost, place a snow skin mooncake and a fresh candle under the light of the moon and the child will find their way home. The child will say the bright light of the moon showed them the way. On the night of a new moon children are guided by a bright white rabbit. Children who are blind say they felt a warmth in their chest guide them and would hear the thump of a rabbit's legs.
Cosmeires Lore
Ming-Yue is part of a closed species called Cosmeires. The closed species and Ming-yue's design were created by suunyii. A species existing in the cosmic ocean since the beginnings of time, created by ⬛ for amusement. They are very attuned to the universe and incredibly intelligent .They are able to tear apart space and time to move into other galaxies and timelines. They are travelers, protectors, and guides. Many a thousand years ago, their Creator fell into a peaceful slumber and Cosmeires have since wandered off into various corners of the world, and some even became inhabitants of civilization, settling down as a respite from their travels.
