Amelia was Born in 1952 year, she grew up in struggling post war family who barely made ends meat in Warsaw being partially destroyed by previous war. Being the youngest and most fragile one out of her siblings her parents decide to help her survive by legally giving her away to The Boss who was stopping by Warsaw on her way to Soviet Union. She got touched by Amelia's parents way of protecting their daughter so she accepted the offer herself being a mother who never had the chance to raise her own child that she gave away, she wanted to take care of Amelia knowing that if she'll decline Amelia would eventually die.
Through The boss little Amelia meet Naked snake (Big boss), he found himself enjoying her company even if she was just a little girl, her politeness and soft nature making him feel protective of her ending up with Amelia seeing him as her brother. Amelia enjoyed to share her snacks with him especially chocolate.
During the events of snake eater Amelia was 12 years old, because of The boss disappearing over few years she was now taken care of by snake who willingly watched over her when the boss wasn't present. After her death he became Amelia's legal guardian and raised her, as she developed she decided to become a nurse wanting to help soldiers on the field still being distraught after The bosses death, snake never told her about her betrayal not wanting to break Amelia's heart.
During the events of peace walker Amelia was 22 years old. She despite snake's protests followed him everywhere wanting to keep him safe as he was the only "family" she had left. During the fight between snake's squad and mercenary squad she was the one who took care after Kazuhira Miller who was injured after the bomb went off, not wanting to let a man die even if he was on the enemy side. After regaining consciousness being the womanizer he is he tried his usual sweet talk on Amelia only to be later threatened by snake to "don't even think about hurting Amelia or else" sounding more like a overprotective father.
When MSF was formed by Snake being the commander and Kaz being subcommander she was taken in as a nurse despite snake's protests (again). After MSF received a mother base she was never allowed on a Battlefield or be a part of any missions being only allowed to station at infirmary, she wasn't forced to work and was allowed to just live in the base peacefully, it was her choice to work as a nurse. Because of her connection to the Boss she was very respected by soldiers. Despite snake's warning Kaz kept trying to make his charm work on her to his failure as she prefered to avoid him as she found his presence to be uncomfortable for her - as a delicate and sensitive girl and a woman having to listen to his constant flirts and suggestive comments. She didn't want to be around a womanizer and flirt who doesn't take any relationship seriously and ends it without a word after one night. With time however she found herself slowly open up to him as she started to see him more often apologizing after his remarks left her hurt. She started to see more true side of his after learning his backstory feeling bad and sympathetic for him, as he himself slowly started to look back at his behavior and how he saw women before meeting Amelia and her "enlightening" him. He started to seriously think about her and tried to genuinely get closer to her but she still didn't took him lightly not sure about his motives and feelings for her, wondering if those are true or if he's just playing with her to get what he wants from her. She stayed soft-spoken and polite with him but he could see the distance, hesitation and uncertainty in her behavior towards him keeping him in a line.

trivia
- she speaks 3 languages fluently, polish, Russian and English (horrible at Spanish and french)
- she makes amazing pancakes
- she's prohibited to be dispatched on missions by Snake and Kaz. It's very very rare when she's on field and only when snake is around. He's scared that she'll get hurt since not many enemy soldiers remember about the morality when it comes to attacking a medic
- Amelia tends to care for every wounded even enemies. Even when it's against her own self, she swore to help everyone in need she's unable to leave someone to possibly die. Sometimes she hates herself for it and is conflicted when it comes to helping enemy soldiers
- she can play a mandolin (like my grandma) since kazuhira plays guitar he often teases her about it saying that he's cooler since mandolin only has 3 strings as he can play on 6 🔥🔥
- whenever she's sick and needs to stay at infirmary he often visits her to play something for her, or just to keep her company (being less annoying and flirty not wanting to upset her)
- she can flirt and will tease back if she wants to she's very subtle and polite about it what can't be said about Kaz, some say she's too mysterious always smiling and speaking in that soft voice
- she has slight polish accent when she speaks English.
- Kaz tries to impress her and charm her by learning few polish words to compliment her. Often times it's just gibberish and struggling to pronounce a word
- she is aware about Kaz's attempts on asking her out. What's stopping her from accepting is the worry and uncertainty of his feelings.
