He was born fae-cursed, he didn't know he was cursed as a child. And he ended up spending much of his young years in a psych ward because he kept trying to explain the things he saw and everyone just thought he was crazy. As he became a teen, he learned to understand that only he could see through the veil. So he started to be quiet about it and keep it to himself. By the time he aged out of the system he was pretty much well known in the area as mentally ill. He lives in an old train car he turned into tiny living on the out skirts of town. He fights to earn money, only scene that really doesn't care about his past. The gym he practices at is where he runs into Shay. She decided to go there since it was in the outer town area so she could relax. He saw her poor form and offered to help her. She recognized that he was cursed and became interested in him. She is not sure what the curse is though. But they become friends slowly because she doesn't know his past, or care, so she treats him normally which is new for him. But they form a really close friendship. Until he stumbles on her being Fae. And that is where the story begins.
