Disease and Destruction

As a demon, Goblin had always been on the more sickly side, but it was something he rarely took notice of. He was still able to do what he needed to do, and he never let it interfere with his life. He was the eldest child of his father, Plague, and looked forward to the day that his father would pass down the powers he held to his son. It would be his turn to rule, then, and he intended to make sure the world would remember his name just as they remembered Plague. When the time came, Goblin received no word about his birthright, and so he approached his father. While Goblin had never taken much notice of being sick, his father certainly had. Plague laughed in his face, and then went a step further. He beat his son, to the point where he could no longer open his one eye, and his horn was broken.

In disbelief, anger, and fear, Goblin fled from his father. He also fled from Hell, carving out a new slice of life on Earth. There, he decided that he would take his birthright by force if his father would not give it to him. He also decided that he would get revenge on Plague for the pain he had caused him. The trouble was, Goblin had no idea how he was going to do either of those. He realized there were many more humans than demons, and formed a plan to assimilate with them. To hide his demon looks, he took to wearing baggy sweatshirts and pants, tucking his wings close to his body. With hoods pulled up to cover his horns, he was able to walk around mostly unremarked. He hopes to recruit enough humans to stand against Plague, and allow him to take over.

Goblin seldom succeeds with his plans, and it causes him to grow bitter. He also becomes distracted with Earth life, which differs so much from life in Hell. Down the road he meets a demon king named Strange. For reasons Goblin cannot fathom, Strange takes a liking to him. Strange agrees to help Goblin get revenge on his father, but mostly the two of them just hang out together.
