Maxi is... well, Maxi. He is hard to pin down exactly who, or what, he is. A sorcerer capable of rivalling even the most powerful mages in sheer firepower, yet he seems content in doing his own thing. His eccentric and energeric demeanor and appearance hides something far more sinister, however, that Maxi doesn't fully understand himself.
He is a wandering soul, a person with no place among the living or the dead. Given Bahamut's blessing after dying in his original timeline, he slipped through the cracks and ended up trapped in an endless cycle of death. He is effectively immortal, but what's the point of immortality if every time you cheat death you end up in an alternate timeline and everything from your previous life lost? Maxi simply wants to find a way to stop this cycle and return to his life and friends he's lost time and time again.
Of course, there is more than meets the eye. Maxi knows that he was clone meant for menial tasks in his original timeline, and that Bahamut gave him her blessing when he died. What he doesn't know is exactly what the clones were made for, what Bahamut's blessing really was, or if he's even human in the slightest.
Maxi is a very... eccentric man. He is very unpredictable and impulsive. He can be rather blunt and very unnerving, though he usually means no harm. He's rather sarcastic and will often end up in arguments with those he percieves as having higher authority than himself. His mood has a tendancy to swing rather hard at times too. He's kind of a mess. Though he seems rather lazy with his habit of doing everything except what he's supposed to be doing, he is genuinely hard working when he needs to be or is interesting in something. He is very intelligent, though it's all academic intelligence. He's the smartest idiot you will ever meet, can explain the process of nuclear fusion and then will turn around and ask if cheese has dairy in it. He is also extremely loyal to his friends, especially Galena, and would lay down his own life if it meant they would remain safe and unharmed.

DISCLAIMER: Due to the fact that Maxi has a story thats five miles long and a timeline more confusing than the FNaF plot and timeline, only the basics will be explained here. The full story will probably be typed out and put into a separate tab. Eventually.
Most men are born; but some are created for a special purpose—and Maxi is one such man. Artificially created to serve as a lowly servant, Maxi was never meant to be anything more than a puppet for the elite of Niflheim. He's a Radon-class worker, condemned to a cold, grey life of watching screens and graphs for the local power and production plants. Unlike other clones, who were a nearly perfect copy of their creator Dirk, Maxi was a bit... off. The cybernetics implanted into him didn't quite work right, giving him just enough autonomy to be capable of holding a conversation and exhibiting a slight amount of actual personality.
Though human at first glance, clones are anything but. Created under the guise of being cheap laborors who don't need pay or breaks, in reality they are an affront to nature created by a pair of scientists who succumbed to the influence of the void. Clones, or pseudodragons as they are properly called, are the humanoid shell of voidspawn grubs tempered in Bahamut's blood. Her blood causes them to attempt to mimic her form, while the humanoid shell is a clone of one of their makers to allow them to hide among the masses. Their cybernetics are advertised for making sure clones do their tasks, but they are also meant for making sure the grub doesn't mature and overtake their humanoid clone host before it's ready.
Maxi was owned by Galena Kauffman, the lead supervisor at a local power plant for the city. He was more of a personal servant than a worker, as he had a tendancy to not actually do work and get distracted much to Galena's disappointment. He worked well enough as a coat hanger though and considered her purchase of a "interesting looking clone" an investment. Of course with most things relating to Maxi, this was a mistake. Maxi was not happy, he had enough self awareness to realize that he was just a tool or a pretty decoration to literally everyone around him, and due to his broken cloning and faulty cybernetics he was in a lot of pain too. It's unknown how long Maxi was in service, but one day he snapped. Galena stepped out of her office for just a minute and Maxi bolted. He doesn't really know exactly what he did, just that there was a lot of fire, screaming, and smoke. He was burning, and he was dead.
Well, he should've been dead. But he wasn't. He was... somewhere, staring into the eyes of a gargantuan, shining silver dragoness. She was Bahamut, goddess of the ancient dragon people and one of the last of her kind. Her physical body had been discovered underneath Niflheim and was used to create Maxi and the other clones. Bahamut felt pity for the clones, for her children, and attempted to save Maxi. The artificial binds keeping the voidspawn dormant within Maxi had fully broken, and to prevent that from becoming a problem, Bahamut placed a binding spell on Maxi to keep his soul stable and intact. Bahamut was excited to be able to finally interact with a mortal for the first time in eons, and in her excitement and haste to return Maxi to life, she dropped his very confused corpse into the Manastream, leaving him to slip through the cracks in space and time.
Over the next several god knows how many centuries, Maxi has been stuck in an endless cycle of waking up, making a mess of things, dying, and waking up again somewhere else. His programming as a clone leads him to seek out his original owner, that being Galena. Sometimes she's friendly, the two are close friends. Sometimes she's not so nice. Maxi is... unstable. He's the most attached to the first Galena he ended up with when he woke up for the first time after dying. He wants that Galena back desprately, and he doesn't really care how many other Galenas' (and his own) blood ends up on his hands to get there.
Every time Maxi dies and gets sent hurtling through the Manastream against his will, Bahamut's blessing wears off little by little, and the voidspawn within him wakes up more and more, beginning to slowly take control of Maxi as it writhes against its restraints. The more he dies, the more unstable and dangerous he becomes. The voidspawn has its own plans, and is more than happy to use its host to achieve those plans. Maxi doesn't understand why he seems to destroy all he holds dear, and he only gets more and more destructive as the grub continues to take more control and fracture Maxi's very being. It's a seemingly endless cycle and poor Maxi is just desprate for some answers and for it to stop.

- Burn scars do not have to be exact, as long as they're vaguely in the right spots.
- Bluish silver mouth/tongue, bright cyan blue blood/guts.
- His canine teeth are much sharper than a normal person's.
- Uncannily long limbs. He is a very lanky man.
- Usually looks like he's about to snap at any second. He just has resting unhinged face.
- He is an ENTP-T.
- Maxi has no pulse or heartbeat and doesn't appear to breathe when unconsious. He also almost never blinks and always very cold to the touch, like a corpse.
- His magic generally manifests as small, blue, glowing butterflies, and sometimes they just appear around him. He himself cannot see the butterflies, but he knows of their existence thanks to others pointing it out.
- He is ambidextrous, though favors his left hand for most things.
- He lacks the ability to taste! Unfortunate.
- Due to the above, pineapples are his favorite snack since they make his mouth tingly. He also likes soda for similar reasons.
- He is lactose intolerant and will die if he thinks too hard about milk.
- He is also mildly color blind of the red/green variety.
