Toady

"Do what it takes to take what is yours."

Toady is a power-hungry little thing that has been on the lower rungs of the bureaucratic hierarchy in the realms behind the world in various roles for quite some time.

One of the longer lived denizens of the realms, Toady is a Toad Goblin who has never held more than a lower managerial role in his centuries of life. This is despite countless schemes to gain great power. He is quite bitter about this, blaming it on those around him, despite the fact that it is ultimately his own cowardice and greed that always catches up to him.

Background

As a child in the goblin court, Toady always wanted more. Don't get me wrong, he always loved the mud and grime, but he wanted status to go with it. To live in filth, but with respect. Really, that's all he's ever wanted, respect. Pity that he's never gone about it in a reasonable manner.

At the time he was hired he was interested in climbing the corporate ladder, perhaps even moreso than he currently is. The idea that his ambition has actually been worn down by this point is a terrifying one, but may be accurate.

Throughout his centuries in the bureacracy of the realms behind the world, he's been consistently trying to climb the ladder by any means necessary, from obsequious suckuppery to bald powergrabs, all of which have failed.
