Deem never knew his Parents, he lived since birth in an orphanage where some scientists adopte him.
But they just needed him for some experiments. He should be fused with some ''monster'' parts so he could help in war. At the age of 16 he broke free and was later on found by Murasaki. He thought at first that Muraaki wanted to kill him but saw that she just wanted to help him.
