Malachi

Re-design and twist of my old character 'Blood' from 2008. Bit of a comfort character?
Needs an anthro reference.

Anthro fox vampire, way older than he looks. Like most vampires, he drinks blood. Can also digest regular food and drinks, but they do not provide him with any nutrition. Can walk in the sun, but is sensitive to sunlight. He can turn into a feral fox or a bat from his anthropomorphic form.

Somewhat demisexually appetized in more ways than one: craves the blood of people he already knows more than strangers'. Despite his undead curse, Malachi has excellent restraint with blood, but it hasn't always been like this. Old age has taught Malachi more than any books could. Malachi was turned into a vampire by his own uncle, and he has only ever turned one person into a vampire himself. He refuses to repeat this mistake.

The old fox is charming and calm, kind and generous. He is easy to fall in love with but hard to see through. Malachi doesn't like to talk about himself in any deeper-than-surface level. Prays, but to what god - I'm not sure. He is a tad introverted, and enjoys his alone time. Needs to recharge after attending social events. Malachi's favorite things are rich comforts, astrology and warm baths. Dislikes pain, witnessing distress and fear, winter and the cold in general.
