like every cq he used to be a conductor when tartar was in command. he was surrounded by a lot of death (sanitisation and just subjects dying and shit) which resulted in a fear of his own mortality (something he had before his job but it was amplified), he was pretty close with one of the subjects, an octoling but the octoling eventually succumbed to the rigorous testing, and soju watched them collapse on their way back to the station from one of the tests, covered in sanitisation fluid. he watched them turn completely white as they died, but then turn a sickly green as they became sanitised and they came back to life and attacked him. the trauma from being attacked, his friend dying, his fear of mortality being confronted, and him witnessing them seemingly return to life after death through sanitisation, changed everything for him. when tartar was defeated and amon took over, his job was neglected so he switched to become a scientist. he was convinced he could discover sanitisation reviving the dead, or even granting immortality. (this next part i wanted to discuss with you so feel free to express if you wouldnt like me to include it) cuz kamabo became like a medical industry, some people donated their loved ones dead bodies for science, and soju would take them and experiement on them. when amon was defeated and wakame took over, he lost that source, causing him to be one of the few who preferred when amon was in charge. so yeah he turns to killing clones and experimenting on them, causing fucked up sanitisation abominations and shit, hes excused by wakame for awhile because shes sympathetic towards cqs in her early days of leadership, but it gets too much and she makes an example out of him and sanitises him (and her sympathy for cqs and most of her employees is lost) then he rediscovers his research eventually before becoming a test subject and becomes a villian for loch and the sanitized octoling

Appearance
Dr. Soju is a Sea Cucumber with light skin and bright cyan eyes with a black sclera, though they are normally closed. He has short tubes that curl into his face and are blue and green in colour even before he was sanitized. He formerly wore a Kamabo Scientist uniform though he now wears a Kamabo Test Subject uniform, though he has kept the scientist coat. He has deep scarring on his neck and shoulders.
