CHILDHOOD
Jude was raised in a crowded house, home to her, both her siblings, her parents, grandparents, and great grandmother. She very quickly grew to know the value of quiet and of having space to yourself. Most of her earliest memories are of creating small blanket forts or makeshift tree houses to hunker down in with a book or some toys.
ADOLESCENCE
Jude's grandfather was quick to get her helping on the crabber, taking her for her first season when she was only 13. Throughout her teen year she spent a lot of time with he grandfather, learning about fishing and listening to his stories of the strange things you see on the open ocean. She gained a few odd experiences herself, although had never been one to dwell, assuming it to just be tricks of the light, fog, and bioluminescent creatures. She began dating Evie in their senior year of high school, and Evie was quickly welcomed into the crew of the crabber.
ADULTHOOD
After The passing of her grandfather when Jude was 22, she became distinctly strange in habits. People around town had always thought she was a bit weird but it only ramped up steadily from there. Taking odd routes on fishing excursions, leaving at weird times and coming back at weird times as well, refusing to let anyone else work on her boat. It was a miracle she still brought in enough catch to keep herself afloat. At the moment she had been often alluding to an unnerving recurring dream, in conversations with Evie.
