Tania Scruffs

Tania, also known as Red, grew up on the streets of Danerk.

At age 10 she lives near the docks in an old box she has made up for herself. She lives mostly off fish as she helps the fishermen whenever she can in exchange for fish to eat. The fishermen nickname her Red and joke that she is the docks mascot. It is around this time that she finds Twilight and convinces her to come stay with her as she heals up. When Twilight wants to return to the lab she came from to save her friends she left behind, Tania offers to go with her. Epic journey commences.

Later in her life at age 16 she gets into a relationship with a guy who ends up getting her pregnant and leaves. With the worry of an on coming baby Tania tries to do all that she can and asks the fishermen for a proper job as that is really all the skills she has. They are hesitant at first because she is young but when they find out about the pregnancy they hire her to help out around the docks.
Baby Sanura is born when Tania is 17 and she does all she can for her little girl, enrolling her into the schools that she can afford and then moving her when she feels unsafe because of bullying. Twilight offers to babysit after Tania gets jobs on the boats and she'll be away for long periods of time.

At age 30 she and her daughter are approached by Cross Academy, Tania accepts and is grateful for the free tuition and the accepting nature of the school. She is relieved when Sanura finally makes friends and starts to blossom.
