When Cadmus found the two eggs by the lake, he knew there was something special about them. There was no way they weren't left in Tides territory on accident- or maybe if they were, there was a good reason for that. A aprt of him could tell these Mons were meant for the water, so he brought the two eggs to Tsunami to hatch them in a healthy environment. Tsunami would take up the role of mother for the two Mons, and would have her adoptive children as backup for when she was patrolling at night.
Spike is the more reserved and closed off of the sisters, typically the recipients of most of her sister's pranks. Though she finds them funny, she worries that her sister is going to deeply hurt someone's feelings, even if they're someone trying to invade their home. Spike is honorable and would rather risk her life than hurting someone who may just be taking a look to see if the group is open enough to join. Potential recruits mean more protection for them, after all. Her and her sister Drip are attached at the hip, and it would be nigh impossible to separate them.
