- gary stu but in a kind of funny way where he's really oblivious to it. he's friends with almost everybody and thinks that not many people like him, his literal godlike abilities are chalked down to 'the weird things i do when i'm overstimulated,' and seas mentors (the other three of the swords of justice) are just 'the people letting me live with them if i learn how to fight for some reason!' and not like... the swords of justice. the vigilantes who protect the world and whatnot.
- sea is also this universe's equivalent of a literal demigod cashiering at a hobby lobby. i am not kidding
- i think if he were actually in the series sea'd have a very very minor role like i remember lugia being. maybe they could be friends? not sure
- oh yeah also he/him and sea/seas/seaself, (he is transmasc but the other legendaries and mythicals never actually forced a gendered label on him at birth because they're kind of above that. so he's a guy simply because he thought that was what fit him best, and didn't really think about it much beyond that.)
- he has a very strong faith in pokemon as a whole and feels very passionately about it, and despite how hard it is to read people for him, he's not really stupid or naive.
- sometimes he will play along with the assumption that he has no clue what's going on socially to learn more about the people around him, though. hooray for using people's blatant ableism agaisnt them!
- sea probably feels isolated from most people because most people assume this image of him that's naive and annoyingly cheerful because of his disability and his beliefs surrounding the world, which is why earlier when i mentioned he didn't think many people liked him, he does believe most people like that image of him but will never genuinely take sea seriously for who he really is - that his positivity has actual grounds and that while he's prone to being trusting he isn't stupid.
