Personality

Oreo is quick to anger, he's the first one to bring a threat into an arguement however the last to start kicking. He is often found just sitting in Mahalo's greenhouse, gazing sadly at the plants growing there. 

Raised on the smallest island in the chain, Oreo had little friends or influence outside of his mother and direct village. When his mother fell ill and he was forced to move to the largest island, his anger got worse, he began turning cold to the world.

After meeting Mahalo, the stallion began to calm down. He brings new flowers to his mother nearly every day, occasionally bringing his boyfriend along. He's become quite a softy in recent years however never lost his fighting spirit.

Appearance

Oreo is a light, latte colored stallion with a dark brown mane and tail. He has a thin, sharp horn. He is a blank flank, not yet earning his cutie mark. His hooves are darker coffe colored, and his legs and underbelly are a light champange.

Relationships

Mahalo - Boyfriend

Mahalo has been a rock for Oreo, through his mothers declining health. He allowed Oreo to move into his home and stay with him until he got onto his feet, however the two fell inlove with eachother. Mahalo is a very nice, caring stallion and is always there for Oreo. Mahalo is able to calm Oreo down easily and uses his own stablity to comfort Oreo.

Story

Oreo lived on the smallest island in the island chain. The village he lived in was very small, and to say the young stallion had "growing pains" would be an understatment. He itched to get out of the island and go to the largest, more modern island, Pona. This restlessness drove his impatience, he often lost his temper towards his mother and others in the village.

When Oreo was 19, his mother fell very ill. They were forced to move to Pona so that she could live in the hospital there. It was a huge culture shock for Oreo, causing his aggression to spike. He was often found picking fights in alley ways for the fun of it or spending hours on the beach throwing rocks. For Valentines day, he went to the nearby Greenhouse to get flowers for his mother. He met Mahalo there, who was 20 at the time. Oreo asked Mahalo for his most blessed flowers, for his mother, and Mahalo gave him a beautiful pink flowering bush that 'brought good luck'. 

Finding solace in the calm warmth that Mahalo had shown, Oreo found himself drawn to the greenhouse when he was having a bad day. Eventually he told Mahalo about his mother and how he had moved to Pona from the small, unnamed island. Mahalo offered Oreo a place in his home, so he didn't have to live in the hospital. Oreo graciously accepted, helping Mahalo run the greenhouse as payment.

As months went on, Oreo grew flowers to specifically bring to his mom daily. Mahalo went with him a couple times to the hospital, where Oreo's mother would always ask them if they were dating everytime, in her fragile state she hardly remembered the previous visits. They would laugh and say no, however their love began blossoming as the summer went on. 

Now Mahalo often visits Oreo's mom on his own, thanking her everytime for bringing her wonderful son into his life.
