SILKWING X ICEWING
"Mourning Cloak"
A dragon born of Silkwing and Icewing parents. A curious dragon who was one of the first to discover their "icesilk" properties. Similar to normal Silkwings who have flamesilk, they instead produce a cooling effect within their silk. However the effect is not nearly as potent as flamesilk is, useful only for novelty pillows and household items that stay chilled even in hot weather. Their wings mimic the pattern of a Mourning Cloak butterfly, one of the few that live throughout the winter season and weather. Their scales may not be the classic whites and light blues of an Icewing but they shimmer in the light beautifully from their Silkwing heritage.
