Akuna, a school spirit, had become driven by their desire for academic success and has become a perfectionist, pushing themselves beyond what is healthy to achieve success. Despite his otherworldly appearance, He still holds on to his human like ambitions and dreams.

Due to his relentless pursuit of academic success, Aku is constantly haunted by a sense of unease and pressure to achieve making him act cocky when he knows he is doing a good job.

He is plagued by a seemingly unceasing need for validation and recognition, but despite their achievements and accomplishments, it never seems enough. 

  This perpetual state of anxiety has turned Aku into a tortured soul, forever seeking that elusive validation and recognition. Though… he does his best to just keep on going.

Headcanons: 

• He has nervous ticks usually those being that he crosses his arms a lot or plays with his hair 
• Socially awkward since he can either be too formal or too comfortable considering if he is burnt out or not 
• Feels like he is always being watched for some reason. Paranoid I suppose?
• Very lacking in the romantic + intimacy aspect of things since he is.. well awkward 
• He takes compliments to heart but just doesn’t know how to respond so it’s usually a thank you or a “why tho”
• Usually seen on the train with his boyfriend who is also a ghost
