Balirix

Balirix is a demon of the pride sin, whose arrogance, vanity, and selfishness know no bounds. With wings like a wise, old owl, he always looks down on others and sees himself as better than everyone else, whether he is or not.

Balirix was once a human prince, born with silver spoon in his mouth, surrounded by privilege and influence.  He used his position to his advantage, believing himself to be better than those around him and treating others with cruelty and disdain.  However, Balirix's arrogance and prideful nature eventually led to his downfall, as he fell from grace and was exiled from the kingdom, condemned to a place of eternal suffering.

Balirix never forgot his past life, and often reminisces about the days when he was treated like a king, and how he will never be satisfied with his current life in hell.

Headcanons:

He loves to hear himself talk and has a knack for convincing others to do his bidding.

Balirix is manipulative, cunning, and always looking to further himself, at the expense of others if need be.

His personality is one of self-importance, always believing his opinion to be the only right one.

Balirix is known to be very vain and obsessive about his appearance, spending hours on his hair, clothes, and makeup, making sure he looks flawless at all times.  

He enjoys spending time with other pride demons, as they share similar values and goals, but also feels quite competitive with them.  

Balirix has a soft spot for animals, in particular birds, and often has a pet crow or owl at his side.
