Once a captive held in a fighting ring in the underground of the run-down city of Frannoc, Azoth is now under the care of two werewolves, Snip Siperian and Ori D'Artagnan, and a drow elf named Velkyn. By order of the king of Jerarix, he is to undergo training to be reentered into society peacefully and serve as a soldier under the king.
During his time as a slave, Azoth was physically, mentally, and sexually abused, which caused him to develop a number of mental disorders, all of which kept him from properly integrating into Dorixian society. He had never eaten a hot meal, only seen daylight a handful of times, and had never been able to have a full night sleep. He fought constantly in a fighting ring that had him fighting for his life, and due to the harsh treatment of the people in charge, he has a hard time opening up to people and trusting strangers. He's slowly but surely getting better, but unfortunately the ways that he was brought up for the first two decades of his life have scarred him for life.

Personality
Azoth is a very quiet individual, a trait that he learned from Frannoc. In the fighting ring, those who wanted to remain unnoticed and wanted to stay left alone as often as possible found that staying silent was the quickest way to get overlooked by the guards. At the same time, Azoth is very curious, and upon leaving Frannoc, he realizes that there is much in the world that he has never encountered/has no idea about. Thankfully, he has his best friend (and eventual partner) Velkyn to explain to him the things that he doesn't understand. He has a bad habit of apologizing for things that don't really require apologies, and his anxiety is easily triggered in social situations. Thankfully, he's gotten better during his time with Snip, Ori, and Velkyn, but a bit of patience is still appreciated when introducing Azoth to new environments.

Velkyn is the one who saved Azoth from Frannoc, and they both are fiercely loyal to each other. Velkyn is also a courier for King Jethrope, and he is assisting Snip and Ori with Azoth's rehabilitation. The two of them began dating, and are currently working slowly to help Azoth realize what true love feels like.

Snip is Azoth's mentor, assigned to him by King Jethrope Regis, who is in charge of helping him cope with the PTSD that he suffers from due to his constant near-death experiences in Frannoc.
Ori D'Artagnan

Ori is Azoth's mentor, assigned to him by King Jethrope Regis, who is in charge of helping him cope with his anxiety and depression as well as the dissociation that he suffers from due to the trauma that he experienced in Frannoc.
