Backstory:

Dagasi became the ruler of her pride after challenging her mother, the former ruler, to a deathly fight in which she ended up killing her. Among the other clans, Dagasi's victory was regarded as barbaric which earned her numerous unsavory names such as 'Kinslayer', 'Blood-Stained Queen', 'White Death' etc, but Dagasi proudly accepted these names as epithets, if only because she believed they made her sound more fearsome than she truly was.
After her mother's death, Dagasi became not only the ruler of her clan, but also of a few nearby clans her mother had made alliances with, but Dagasi wanted more. She sought to expand her territory to the west and east, absorbing the smaller clans located there until the Northern region was comprised of several unified clans of sabertooths. Some of these smaller clans did not recognize Dagasi as a ruler and opposed her, trying to kill her several times.
