Ivan is a jaded military black ops sniper. Ivan is desensitized to killing, but doesn’t take any sick pleasure in it. Due to the body count he's accumulated over years of military service, Ivan feels he's too far gone to turn back from the path of the sniper. Hence why he remains in the military. He's an empty killing machine, assassinating the enemy whenever asked. For this reason, Ivan feels a large disconnect between himself and everyday citizens, and can't see himself reintegrating into everyday society.

Ivan was once a man raised to be fiercely loyal to his country and filled with determination to serve. Now he's dead inside and his emotions subdued. 

-Ivan had a wife at one point. They divorced after Ivan came back from his first taste of combat. He was not the same man his wife had initially fallen for. 

-Has a fondness for Vodka.
