Niles Khairi

Niles Khairi, some years ago, was previously a human who lived an ordinary life in his studio apartment working in retail on Earth. After meeting a monster guised as a human named Beatrice, they befriended one another and built up to become roommates, Beatrice convincing him 3-5 years after to come and live with her for some time just to "Have a fresh change of pace." 

Transported to an entirely different universe without a single hint to such previously, Niles is now stuck inside a universe that is unfitting for humans. He should not exist there, and while the long-since broken laws of that universe cannot stop his existence for now, the magic of it had forced upon him a secondary monster form to somewhat "balance things."

All of this has been nothing but stress on the man, and ever since he's been trying is damnest to return to his proper universe through the study of magic. He uses his monster half as a guise called Saab, participating in an underground group so that he may continue his study.

• He has trouble dictating that he and Saab are truly the same person sometimes.
• When acting around strangers, his human side is much more sociable, humorous and cheery. Like a supportive friend! Saab, however, is often more straight-to-the-point and easily exhausted. A workaholic, in a way.
