At around the age of 8 Roz was taken from his family by humans as payment for a debt they owed. Originally he was used as an errand boy collecting debts for illegal trade and cleaning up after illegal fights. As he got older and bigger his training began. He was trained to fight in illegal underground cage fighting rings for entertainment and financial profit. He was given the in ring name of, "The Feral Freak," a cruel name given to him by the humans. He was terrified and his first fight was a total failure. He frequently lost and was often left to nurse his wounds in a tavern beer cellar which had been his home for the last few years. Eventually all the beatings thickened his skin and he learnt not to care anymore. He began winning as he no longer cared about the pain. In fact, he started thriving on the pain and the adrenaline rush. Although he towers over his human "owners" and could easily leave their mistreatment, he knows no other life outside of fighting so he sticks around.
