Haunt

Bob of Dresden. a ghost. tethered to his skull, only has a couple yeards 'leash'. can vanish and reappear at will. complete ghost form is whispy black with little sparks and floating ash, eyes can be white, red or orange, depending on circumstances. can shape-shift to mimic someone if he's touching something meaningful to them. points-of-contact glow gold.

prim & proper, smartly-dressed, likes the finer things. defiant and stubborn. snarky, blunt, distant but does actually care sometimes. very protective of what he actually cares about. has lived for thousands of years and will live for eternity, tries to keep his distance because of that but he's terribly lonely. one of his biggest fears is being abandoned, as he can't leave his skull without magic. much like a genie, he needs "permission" to leave his skull. cam sorta choose but ultimately must obey orders given by "master". fights whenever he can, just to prove he can. has had several harsher "masters" in the past, who only brought him out for his expertise or talents(his own magic is limited but unique). the latest owner of the skull has been the kindest, casting a spell so that he can come and go as he pleases, so long as the wizard still possesses ownership of the skull. also made him a containment crystal, when worn, he's tethered to that instead, giving him greater freedom. if the crystal is stolen with malicious intent, he is sent back to his skull until released again
