Slatestone may be the "newest" warrior of HollyClan but he's by no means a spring hen. Slatestone was an appretnice with Lilysplash and Sparrowspot, but did not get his warrior name for several moons after an incident with a monster, his mentor Stonetail was also hit trying to save him, and while she succeeded, it wasn't without the cost of her own life. As he has gotten older, Slatestone has kept many secrects, and he knows his place- when to speak and when to stay silent, and with as a heavy faith in StarClan as he has, it's not hard to see why he's staying loyal to his leader, afterall, if StarClan gave him nine lives why should Slatestone challenge him.
