Personality: Metapeta is very passionate about science and machinery to the point that she dedicates much of her free time to her studies and inventions. Her lack of interest in magic has made her a bit of an outcast among her fellow fairies, but Metapeta has never minded this. Despite being concerned with the alien invasion, she's very excited to show her fellow fairies what her mechas can do. She's a pretty positive thinker and is always coming up with new inventions, but sometimes doesn't get enough sleep as a result. She was also very excited to meet and interact with humans.

Home: Land of the Fairies

History: Metapeta grew up in a fairy village hidden from the human societies around them. At a young age, she befriended Rosethorn and the friend have been friends ever since. At some point in her youth, she stumbled across human society and became enamored with science and machinery, and decided to study science herself. When she and the other fairies learned that Prince Thistle had broken up with Princess Wex of the Celedon Empire causing the aliens to declare war on the fairies and the rest of the planet, Metapeta was quick to show off the mecha pilot suits she had designed that could be used to fight the aliens, but Rosethorn was quick to point out that the mecha were too big for the fairies to pilot. The fairies then decided to seek out humans to pilot the mechas, and ending up recruiting high schoolers Lop and Yun.

Current Bio: Metapeta currently lives in the Land of the Fairies. She spend most of her time rebuilding the mecha and building other inventions.

Meta-History: Metapeta was created in 2014 for the final project of my creative writing class (which I posted here: Galactic Sugar Rush but you really don't need to read it because it's not written well). Similarly to the main characters Lop and Yun, Metapeta was written to be a foil to her fellow fairy Rosethorn, and has an unusual interest in science compared to Rosethorn, who is more of a standard magical fairy.  Metapeta's name is based on the words "metal" and "petal" combined without the "L"s. She's the first fairy character I've designed that wears pants.

Relationships with other characters:

Lop: Metapeta and Lop become friends very quickly.

Yun: Metapeta and Yun eventually become good friends over their shared interest in science.

Rosethorn: Metapeta and Rosethorn are best friends. Metapeta loves showing Rosethorn her latest inventions.

Prince Thistle: Metapeta gets along with the prince.
