Astrid Polaris

Astrid has always been a lover of the urban city life. The hustle and bustle of the city makes it lively and Astrid feels like there's always something to do, someone to see, people to watch. Astrid is a distant, cold person upon first meeting. It feels as if they doesn't like to be around people when it's actually the opposite. Astrid loves people watching, but they don't particularly like socializing. It's just an interesting pass time, and it's probably the reason why Astrid found themself watching so many movies. Movies are just inspired by real life and written by real people. Astrid grew up watching countless of films, studying them and studying the actors behind the screen and it all lead them to major in film studies all those years later when they enter university.

It was in film class where Aster met Val, who was taking the class a required class for his drama major. The two found out they have a lot in common and became good friends, then eventually became best friends when they decided to be roommates for the remaining years together in college. It was during freshman year when Astrid met Aster, and the two fell in love. Their relationship seemed almost perfect with rumors among their friends that they two would get married once Astrid graduates. However, as Aster's music career took off, the two found themselves falling out of sync with each other and eventually Astrid propose the break up despite still retaining feelings for Aster. Nowadays, they've moved on and the two are still on good terms, though a little awkward; no longer as close as they once were.

Val and Astrid graduated together and as Val started his career as an A-list actor, Astrid became a renowned film critic, well known for their blunt and harsh critiques. Any film that is given their seal of approval is bound to be a box office hit.
