Personality

A somewhat soft spoken dragonet who tends to hang back and observe rather than diving into things. He's not a fan of confrontations but tends to forgive fairly easily.

Appearance 

Cinder is smaller than the average Skywing and despite being Starefire's twin his scales are much duller than his brother's. His eyes are also paler than his brother's and he overall looks like a washed out version of Starfire.

Cinder's wings are a bit oversized compared to his smaller body. They often twitch, flutter and unfurl along with his changing moods but when he's scared he goes statue still.

Bio

Starfire's twin brother. Starfire was born with a version of firescales and as a result Cinder was born with a weak body. Starfire doesn't have true firescales so Cinder does still have some fire of his own but it's considerably weaker than other dragons. His flames rarely burn any hotter than a red flame and he has trouble charging up his flames to a "maximum" temperature. The hottest flames he can produce are orange flames and those require him to hold in his fire as long as he can before letting it out.

Cinder was simultaneously coddled and looked down upon as a young dragonet. His mother Pele often forbade him from doing anything she deemed "too strenuous" but Pele would also get angry and shame Cinder for not measuring up or being able to keep up with his peers due to his smaller size and weaker body. 

Extra Info

- Cinder never truly interacted with Starfire until after Starfire left the Sky Kingdom. He briefly talked with Starfire during one one of Starfire's trips back to the kingdom to see his grandparents but the conversation was short and tension heavy. 

- Growing up Cinder often wondered what Starfire was like since he never got to meet him until later in life. He once asked Pele about his brother but quickly learned it was better not to ask when Pele flew into a rage at the mere mention of Starfire.

- Cinder was somewhat friends with Foxfire from a young age and became friends with Flare after Starfire left the Sky Kingdom. Flare was one of the dragons with the most information about Starfire and Cinder asked her questions about him every so often.
