A man who cherishes the free spirit of Limsa Lominsa, completely indulging in the endless pleasures of life. While actually quite capable as an adventurer, he finds true enjoyment in the rushing seas and face close to another man at the bar. Minos has an outgoing, gleaming personality, and finds new people especially exciting, though one can sense the sweaty palms hiding beneath his smirk. He fishes and gathers and cooks his own meals in celebration with culinary Limsa tradition.
Minos has picky and fancy tastes, as well as an empty wallet. A single wisk of the nightlife highlife was enough to completely bring him to only seek out the best life has to offer, living extravagently. It's not really a big deal though, he's a good enough fisher to reel in enough gil to satisfy another night of brilliant extravagance. A little more alarming than just the bottle service cost may be his crippling gambling addiction. Ironically, he is not even considered a VIP member of any club, and can be considered obnoxious.
He loves hanging out with the other lively folk of Limsa, and definitely considers himself a socialite or sorts. Lobster not only serves to fish, he serves to entertain. He is that one guy who will do backflips into the ocean to impress the onlookers. Bring your face close to Minos and a blush red as his hair will flare accross his skin. He pretends to be cool and aloof but even he has shyness hidden inside sometimes. During moments like this, an overconfident personality overcompromises for this insecurity.
Day to day, life is about embracing the vivid and spontaneous. After all, every adventurer could use a vacation.

In his past life, Minos was a highly esteemed knight from Gridania, a sincere man who fought for the greater good of the realm. At the battle of Carteneau, he died under the unleashed fiery wrath of Bahamut, the honorable soldier's name forgotten....
Years later, a naked Viera Male washes up face down unconscious on the shores of La Noscea. Luckily for him, it seemed to be a common occurance in the region. The poor lad has no idea how to do anything or what was going on. He could barely cook, fish, or even recognize a chocobo, and might as well have randomly manifested into the world. Due to the comedic nature of his first apperance and the coloring of his hair, he has been dubbed Lobster Salad. He has no say in this.
Seeing as he has no job, no money, and no skills, he joins the adventurers guild in a half-hearted hope to find something to solve these pressing issues and satiate his boredom. After testing various weapons, he settled for becoming a lancer, as poking around a long stick is all the poor boy is good for. Minos suspected more work in front of him as his involvement with the Scions deepened, but he remained in the meetings to stare at Thancred and earn Gil.
