Appearance:

Sylvia is very short and looks younger than her age. That said, her demeanour is intimidating and she is often scowling. She has numerous piercings on her ears, and wears a lot of eye make-up, making her eye mask seem bigger than it actually is.

Her hair is naturally wavy. She typically ties her hair into pigtails, but sometimes she wears it as a loose ponytail. Her fringe is on the right side of her face.

Personality:
Sylvia is not a social squid. She is a loner, and hates being in big, noisy groups. She believes in speaking only when you have something important to say, and hates it when people babble incessantly. When she does speak, her words are blunt and manner curt. She doesn’t see the point in being nice to people she doesn’t like, and if she doesn’t like you it’s obvious.

She’s incredibly hot tempered and quick to anger; it takes very little to make Sylvia angry. She has no time for idiots and is very impatient. Most people clash with Sylvia, as her stubborn and irritable nature make her difficult to get along with. However, despite her angry and seemingly uncaring demeanour, Sylvia cares deeply for her friends. She’s a “mum friend” and dotes on her friends, albeit angrily, and is constantly looking after them. She’s over protective of those who she cares about, particularly her younger brother; so much as looking at him wrong will incur her wrath.

She’s a tough cookie and doesn’t back down easily. She’s not afraid of roughhousing and gives as good as she gets. People often mistake her for a push over due to her tiny stature, but Sylvia is not to be taken lightly; if provoked she doesn't hold back. The thing Sylvia despises most is bullies. If she sees someone being bullied, she will intervene, usually by giving the bully what for. She has a reputation for being somewhat of a “vigilante” in the schoolyard. If she gets wind of someone harassing one of her friends, she will hunt down the bully until she has given them a lesson.

Sylvia is a passionate musician. She plays bass guitar and sings backup vocals for the band CMYK, and dedicates a lot of her time to rehearsals and getting gigs. The band is most important to her, so she gets extremely frustrated when her bandmates don’t take things seriously, but she cares about them deeply.

Backstory:
Sylvia’s childhood was tumultuous; her mother has had many partners over the years, and as such things were constantly changing. They never stayed in the same place for more than a couple of months, and this constant moving meant that Sylvia struggled to keep friends. The relationship she has with her mum is indifferent at best. Sylvia is a long standing employee at Grizzco industries, and her experience and bossy nature means that she’s often put in charge of the squad. The money that she earns goes towards looking after herself and her brother and keeping the band running.

Strengths:
The .52 Gal is a powerful weapon with great range. Her play style is slow and steady, so Sylvia works best as mid range defence, covering Lyric and Crème. With her point sensors, Sylvia can track the movements of opponents, making it easier for her and her teammates to splat them.

Weaknesses:
Sylvia’s play style is rather slow, so faster weapons will often have an advantage over her. She doesn’t like getting close to opponents, so enemies who get up close will give her trouble. While powerful, her accuracy is poor, causing her to miss shots that would otherwise prevent her from getting splatted.

Fun Facts:

 If you manage to make Sylvia laugh, she will snort.
 She is inspired by punk and goth fashion styles, and loves designing costumes. She does a lot of CMYK’s costumes and likes to make a different outfit for each gig.
 Is most likely to leave the group chat out of spite.
