Grif first encountered Team Karma in Green Hill Zone, the dungeon she was living in alongside her friend Para. With mild convincing the two current members of the team gave her and her friend permission to join. She'd wanted to explore beyond the dungeon she called home for a while, so Team Karma visiting came at a great time.
Griffon is a rather sweet pokemon. She likes to make friends and will even attempt to befriend those with "standoffish" personalities. She's very caring and likes to help others however she can. Often acting as a sort of "mother" figure to those she meets.
