02 — Personality
Rorschach is an enigma among those that inhabit the world, at least when it comes to socializing or being known. No one knows his true name, only the moniker he gave himself after centuries of wandering from land to land, far from the ashes of his previous life.
No one knows anything about him, other than the whispers that he is a true oracle, a seer of potent ability.
Those that have gotten close to him in some way or form, know he is one of few words, and seems to stare straight through you, despite a lack of eyes. He tends to not mingle with anyone, preferring the shelter of his little home in the backwoods of a swampy region.
Many call him mysterious, but he simply wants nothing to do with anyone unless they're there for a reading. He will gladly take payment and read out your futures and fortunes, what lay before you, whether good or bad. With a grinning golden skull, he'll give you any reading, but will always tack on a warning beforehand.
Some of his greed still lingers from his past, seen in the baubles and payments he has accepted over time with his readings. He calls himself a collector, more than anything, carefully putting away the many things he's gained over the centuries. Many of these things are old, very old, worn down and almost discernable. Rorschach knows what they are though; pieces of what was once his home.
While he seems to come off as the type that doesn't give one little shit about anything, he's actually come a very long way and holds a lot of sympathy that he does not let out. This is seen in the small interactions he has with the nearby village when he comes for food, cloaked up and handing small bites of food to those that need it more than himself.
Perhaps once he might have made a fairly good ruler, but that is something he no longer desires or wants to hear of. He just wants to live out the rest of his cursed eternity to himself.

03 — Background
You've met with a terrible fate.
A glistening city on the edge of the sands, built atop a beautiful oasis. Imagine, if you will, gold and diamonds in the walls, turquoise statues, and a city full of people that live life at the most comfortable. No poverty, only peace and comfort. Now imagine a King and Queen, and their son.
Born as Rorik, he was the son so many smiled upon. A boy with the gift of seeing, a potential power passed down from generation to generation on his mother's side. A boy that would lead them all to happiness and keep them content.
A boy that led them to ruin, albeit out of his own control.
Rorik had the gift, yes, but he was greedy for more, driven by a need to see more and see his own fortune and favor. It was the greed that attracted something to him, slowly but surely. What started off as an innocent teenager in a so very happy city, became a creature arrogant and wanting of power. Rorik wanted to know more, wanted to expand his power, and when he turned 30, he was offered something he could not refuse. A pact, if you will. One carelessly taken with Fortune, for more power. He had no idea what he was truly doing
The effect was immediate after signing. With a laugh, the person vanished in a surge of power, and things began to change. Rorik's tarot cards were reading everything, his visions were absolutely on point.
Upon taking an audience with the prince, everyone could see their fortune, their futures, so very clearly. All his readings were true. He became known as more than a prince but as a true oracle, and he reveled in the attention in power. All the way until one man stood before him that brought fire and destruction in his vision. A power that could not be stopped. One that spread rapidly right before him, catching curtains and materials on fire with maniacal laughter.
Rorik fled as his entire city was razed to the ground, as everyone was burned and sacrificed. Not a soul lived, as far as he could tell. All he had with him were his tarot cards and the bones he carried to have readings.
He ended up far from his own world, in a bog that smelled of rotting foliage and was so very different from what he was used to.
The years began to pass, further than any mortal lifespan, and the corruption from his pact began to seep in. Skin fell from his face, from his tail, yet he could still see. He was cursed, his greed had swarmed him and now he lived with his power and unnatural life.
Word spread of an oracle, of a seer, that lived on his own far from most civilizations. A seer that gave eerily accurate readings for a price to anyone that wanted them. They call him Rorschach, a half corrupted wild mage that will give you what you want for a price.
Maybe you should visit him, if you want a reading. If you can spare the coin or jewel, or piece of yourself that you don't need. He will happily give you the reading you crave, if you can meet his price.

04 — Magic
Seer Abilities
Rorscach has the ability to glance into people's lives. Depending on what is asked, he can view past, present, or future. He can even view fortunes and read tarot, and his divination come true, so beware visiting the hermit in his shack in the woods near the swamps. His magic is potent, and you may not like what he tells you.
As his Discipline grows, so do his visions. Ror is able to discern his visions more for those that ask him. Instead of vague answers, you can get pinpointed details. This will only grow with time and Discipline.
Costs
- Magic can only be used under specific circumstances - Rory can only use his magic when reading someone else. Whether it be future, fortune, or tarot cards, it only activates at that specific time, and never for himself.
