Bergot is a timid Absol who struggles with moodswings and anxiety and just coping with life in general. But he tries his best when he can! He can be whiny and gets overly worried about things to the point of getting upset at others for seemingly minor things or even nothing at all, and he has difficulty keeping deeper relationships, having an unfortunate tendency for falling-outs with others; however, he currently has an understanding boyfriend and is managing.  He tries hard to keep optimistic and takes comfort in books, and even keeps a dream diary.

Physically, he's rather weak and frail, and isn't very fond of physical activity. However, Bergot is rather spiritual, though he mostly keeps it to himself, quietly praying alone. He's also in his church's choir, and is said to have the divine singing voice of Kim Wilde. He's often resentful of others mistaking his identity, both in terms of gender and his name - he can be quite vocal about not being French, and sometimes gets stuck in a loop proclaiming his identity to himself.  He likes fruity candy, and has a peanut allergy.
