Softonom is a sort of living soft toy, or more like a possessed one, who's also a mage! Though he can talk unintentionally bluntly, he's a really friendly person, always willing to support others, either by magical means, of due to him being plushie, though he wasn't always one...

Some time back, there was a relatively powerful mage, who tried to give life to a hand-sewn doll with the help of the cursed tome known as the SOFTONOMICON. Though the spell initially seemed to fail, making the mage lose faith in their goals, the mage died a few years after, and when the light faded from their eyes, their soul was teleported and magically sewn into the doll's fabric!

Now in a new, marketable form, he saw this as a sign their past goals were not impossible, and this was perfect opportunity to leave their past life behind. Choosing their new name after the book that made this possible, and enrolling in a magic college that he was accepted to pre-plush, Softonom was now free to do what they wanted.

What they wanted being making a living off of mixing sewing and magic, creating magical trinkets with thread and spells to sell to those who'd desire them.

Now living in a nice cabin, roommates with his best friend Wisible, and newer friend Scorn,  he also attends the college with high hopes for his future.

Softonom met Wisible while first starting out post-revival, the 2 both forged a bond, due to both being wizards accidentally changed forever due to magical mishaps. Wisible sometimes supplies Softonom with charms to boost his trinket's affects, who wouldn't do that for their best friend after all? He might has just met Scorn 2 months ago, but their friendship will hopefully blossom! (I'm fucking hilarious, I know). He has not connected with any family from his life before his revival, but maybe that's for the best...
