KIRD became obsessed with the culture of his ancients, seeking to create art, music, and writing as they had. Truthfully he was hesitant to aid his citizens in their great problem once he'd become attached to their way of life. His city eventually was abandoned. Many left because of his unwillingness to continue working diligently. The rest eventually died off or went missing. He grieves the loss of his people regularly. He feels that GOI is one of the only iterators he can trust because of their shared appreciation of organic life.
