Ruse has been in the service of Lady Prestor for nearly 10 years now. The first four went by without incident. During her fifth year of service, she saw something she shouldn’t have seen. She couldn’t contain her gasp of shock and alerted Lady Prestor to her presence. Her master reached a large, clawed hand towards Ruse. That night, Lady Prestor made sure that Ruse would never reveal her secret by ripping her tongue from her mouth. Ruse cried out, but the only noise that escaped was the sound of her gurgling on her own blood. Since that night, she has served the Lady Prestor in obedient silence. She’s not forgotten what was done to her - nor has she forgotten the secret that her master so strongly wishes to keep quiet. She’s been planning and plotting ever since to reclaim her freedom and spread the truth about her master with her own voice.
Ruse is a character of mine that I've grown to love. She's a thoroughly adept killing machine that disguises herself as a simple court jester. She wears a full face mask to cover her mouth from view. This is probably similar to how the mask would look - only in gold and green. She wears a standard jester hat, motley tights with an exaggerated tutu of flowing fabric, a corset cinched tightly at the waist, a standard neck ruff, and long gloves past her elbows. She also wears soft, knee high leather boots. Her outfit is green and gold - the colors of the house she serves. The outfit is probably something similar to this (but in green and gold), but you're more than welcome to get creative with it! There are no bells on her outfit!
She routinely carries her daggers hidden in her boots. The two rapiers she has are hidden in a baton that she carries with her.
She is a high elf, so she has pointed ears if you make them visible. Her skintone is a pale alabaster, her eyes are a bright blue, and her hair is black. Generally, her hair and ears are not visible.
