🦕;; Spike [DREAMZZ]

Spike didn't do well in school. They sucked at math, struggled to understand english, couldn't wrap their head around science- the only thing they were succesful in was sports. While Spike wasn't in the school long, the only thing he was ever able to brag about was that at least one of the trophies in the schools trophy case was won by him (mainly in cross-school races). Realizing that while that was cool, they were still getting nowhere and that they were wasting their time in school they decided to drop out.

The day they announced it they were pulled aside by the school's science teacher who said they'd been debating it for a while and offered a job to Spike. The job sounded bat-shit insane, and for a moment he wondered if Mr. Oz was as well, but he decided to. He didn't have anything to do now, he didn't want to get bored. (And also how could they say no to the one teacher that saw potentional in him, despite the fact he failed said teachers classes everyday?)

At first, Spike showed a lot of potential as a dream-chaser. He did well in stopping any attacks against dreamers, proved Mr. Oz's faith in him to be justified, and did something that made him proud of himself. It was something he enjoyed, and something that helped others. It was the happiest time of his life, until he got sick in the real world. While that shouldn't affect him in the dream world, the sickness itself cost him everything and led to him being super depressed. Slowly, Spike got less and less motivated and helped less and less people. Nowadays he does his best to avoide Mr. Oz, too embarressed to face him.

Mr. Oz is a mentor-father figure to spike. They used to be super close, with Spike's parents not being the best and Mr. Oz and Spike spending a lot of time together, that relationship was bound to develop eventually. Spike used to share everything with him, while nowadays he avoids him like the plague. Spike is very sure he's disappointed Mr. Oz, while Mr. Oz is just worried about him.

Yuh-Oh was a plush they bought at a very young age. Not so young that they couldn't remember, but young enough for them to consider them THE childhood plush. Unfortunately, Yuh-Oh was one of the plushies they lost due to their illness. Nowadays, he's only able to interact with the plush in the dream world. It follows him around like a little helper, and doesn't speak aside from off-pitched catchphrases by the Ninja.
