Expanded and Enhanced! I'm back once again to bring a code that everyone is very familiar with! I genuinely can't thank you guys enough for the huge ammounts of support! This project is a thank you letter for everyone who showed support for my previous codes, I hope you guys enjoy it!

This is an improved version of Wiki 1.0, I worked hard to iron out many of the issues present in the last version, and also bring a multitude of new features which provide huge amounts of customization for your page. Replicating or even creating your own original wiki has never been easier.

A special thanks to Aurorean for the help and support.

Features.

Basic Features.

No CSS or Premium required.

You are not required to be a premium user to use this template, as it does not utilize of any premium features or properties. This is an HTML code which means anyone is able to use it.

Completely Customizable

The template is completely customizable, you can use custom colors, background images, fonts, audio files and audio players, etc. It is very easy to create or even recreate any wiki of pretty much any fandom.

Version 1.0 vs 2.0

After all,Β what is the difference between both versions? I'm glad you asked. As the name implies, version 1.0 was the first one to be developed, and although I was and still am very proud of what I was able to accomplish, it still had a few issues that I wasn't able to take care of, but I've been working hard ever since and as time went on I gained more experience and thanks to you guys feedback I was able to to iron out these issues and improve upon what was a great fondation, which brings us to this new updated and improved version.

  • The template is now completely mobile friendly. Issues related to aspect ratios and resolutions have since been fixed, allowing for smooth navegation on any device. Of course, with any template, there are limits to how small a screen can go before elements start to be missplaced, but from all the tests I've conducted, this issue is no more.
  • Many new features have been implemented, which I'll be getting into detail next. A common issue with the previous version and its iterations was that each recreation had a feature that others didn't. That is unavoidable for the most part, as each wiki has its own style and original features, but I did my best to include as many features from all different wikis I've worked on. That way you'll be able to better customize your page without having to worry about missing out on any cool details and styles.
  • Cosmetic links no longer send you to the top of the page. The previous version had a feature where you could create dummy links that didn't take you anywhere and only served to complement the aesthetic. A complaint I received many times was that these links would send the user to the top of the page whenever they were clicked, which could be very annoying for the reader. As a result, that would cause people to be afraid of clicking things, as they would have to scroll back to where they were time and time again. This has since been fixed; you are now able to click and create any type of link without having to worry about the navigation experience.
  • Images can no longer clip behind or on top of other things. This one is pretty self-explanatory; images had the tendency of clipping on top of text among other elements. This has since been fixed, allowing you to add as many images as you want and wherever you want without having them disrupt any section or element of your page.
  • Complete Ovehaul. Although it might not seem noticeable to the naked eye, you will notice when editing that the code has, for the most part, been completely rewritten. This is because the old code housed a lot of issues that would take longer to fix and update, instead of just creating everything from the ground up. This allowed me to provide a considerably better coding experience for anyone trying to edit the code.
  • TF2 Spy is no more. Sorry, he had to go.

Full Screen

This code optimally utilizes the entire available display space, unlike most codes that only make use of the intended profile area. While other codes can achieve impressive results within their confined space, I believe they often fall short of achieving true fidelity. This feature will not hinder your navigation in any way, you can minimize the window at any time and still access things like comments, favorites, etc.

Navigation Bar

The navigation bar is completely customizable and follows the screen when you scroll down, mirroring the behavior of the official version. The buttons aren't just for display, they are interactable and allow you to insert links to other pages. It also features the spoiler toggle, alongside other naviation buttons, and access to the special articles page, which is another tab that allows you to put important information about your subject.

Spoiler Toggle

The spoiler toggle gives users the power to seamlessly alternate between displaying spoilers and keeping them concealed. Picture those moments when you're eager to share your character's intricate lore, yet you still wish to safeguard important plot elements. Ever wanted a solution that strikes a balance between the two? The spoiler toggle caters to those who are eager to delve into all available information while simultaneously respecting the desire of others to preserve the excitement of the unknown.

Special Articles NEW!

The Special Articles feature, accessible through the navigation bar, provides you the creator with a versatile space to showcase content that may not align with the main themes of your page. Ideal for things like Behind-The-Scenes insights, Non-Canon information, and more, it offers a dedicated space for things that aren't the primary focus of your page.

Scroll Widgets

These three icons serve a dual purpose, combining visual fidelity with functionality. The expand button provides an alternative method for minimizing the template, giving the user more control. The content button reveals the content table, mirroring the original site and enabling quick way to navigate without the need for scrolling. The edit button is the only one that is completely cosmetic and doesn't actually have a function, it is only there to mirror the original look of the Wikia website.

Site Navigation

These collapsible boxes house a multitude of themed links, each tailored to a specific category. For instance, the Characters navigation box neatly organizes pages dedicated to various characters, highlighting their roles like protagonist, antagonist, companion, etc. Meanwhile, the "Animated Series" box features pages related to special episodes, Holiday Episodes, Movies, and other relevant content. It's very flexible and customizable allowing you to add and create information according to your preferences.

Table of Contents

This refers to the many newly added tables on the page; they can house various types of information. By default, the ones that come with this theme are: the Censorship table, detailing the difference between the aired version of an episode and one that was later censored; the Achievements table, describing how to obtain achievements in a video game; and the Voice Actor table, which lists many languages along with the respective voice actor for a character. You're able to edit or add as many tables as you want by copying the existing ones.

Custom Audio Player

A complete new audio player, created by yours truly, it operates independently of YouTube which means you don't need to use the old Embed method. No longer will you have to wait a few seconds before the sound starts playing. That being said, if you prefer the old YouTube method, it is still available; all you have to do is swap of a few lines of code, as outlined in the instructions file.

Comment section NEW! Highlight!

A fully interactable comment section, with its own comment system, reply system, and you can even upvote or downvote comments. It allows you, the creator, to add a little more life to your page, making it seem like you're the creator of the next big project with a huge fan-base! That's fictional of course, but hey you can dream! You are able to leave comments and even reply to other "users" with complete customizable text for both you and the fictional users leaving comments on your page!

Download

Me and my friends have tested the template many times, but I'm only Human, so if you find any bugs, do let me know, and I'll release a hotfix as soon as possible! I would like to take a moment one more time to thank you for your support and generosity! I hope you enjoy it! :-)

Legacy Templates

Legacy themes still use Version 1.0 of my Wiki Fandom Template, but since I developed them much after the base version, they lack many of the issues addressed in the creation of the new version. They perfectly mirror the wiki's being replicated, so don't be afraid to pick them as they are just as high quality as this version.
