David Fox

Being an illegitimate child of two pure-blooded vampire families, David was seen as an accident by his parents. While he lived with his mother’s family as a young child, once he was old enough to no longer require her care she passed him off to his father, who was not any happier about his existence. Living with his father’s lineage, the Armanders, David was treated differently from his cousins and the other children. He suffered more for his parent’s adulterous union more than even they did, being the constant object of shame and humiliation. Because of this, young David was very quiet and withdrawn, often lonely. This changed however, for his half brother Caspian eventually grew determined to befriend the only sibling he had been lucky enough to receive. To him, David was a blessing, an answer to his prayers from the God of Fate. The two brothers grew very close very quickly, and Caspian managed to work his way to being the only person David truly trusted or cared about and enjoyed being around.

Not long after reaching adult maturity, Caspian decided to leave home and pursue a life on the sea, sailing away. Finding no reason to stay with the family who cared so little for him, David also fled, making a living as a freelance writer. He would often take jobs for local news in different towns, specializing in interviews and biographic works. Older now and less shy, he had grown into his vampiric charm, and embraced it well. People often were drawn in by his smile, and rarely refused him of what he wanted.
