• Meaning: Mountain Crow

Story: A part of the Kujou clan, Tsubasa is a far more powerful Tengu than his mother, and will most likely become the general of the Shogunate army after her. While the Tri-Commissions aren't entirely sure about another youkai doing that sort of work, especially after they were already wary of Sara, there's not much they can do. Tsubasa has already proven himself to be both poweful and quite skilled. But at the same time he uses those powers to both be a menace and go adventuring.

Personality: Tengu were written as both helpful and dangerous in most mythology, and Tsubasa is the embodiment of both. While more than willing to help people, he also has a love of causing chaos and getting into trouble. He finds a lot of fun in not knowing what will happen, but knows when he actually has to pay attention. Whether or not he does is a gamble.

• Kokomi: Ever been lowkey spooked by your own parent? Yeah, that's how I feel about Mom. Like, don't get me wrong, she's super sweet and really kind. But she also can make an angry oni look friendly by comparison. I should know. I've seen her lose her cool once. It was...terrifying. Even though she answers anything I ask about her, there's still so much I really don't know about her. Maybe I'll just ask her to lay everything out one day. She'll probably be honest about it.
  
• Sara: Gods, Naomi is so polite when referring to her, I just call her Mom too. Usually she can tell when I'm talking to her or when I'm talking to...er...mom. Anyway, Mom's got a lot of baggage, 'specially about being a youkai. She really does want me to embrace my nature as one and never turn away from it. That there was nothing to be ashamed when it comes to being a youkai. Makes me kinda wonder who made her think she was less than because she was a Tengu...
  
• Itto: Ha! Yeah I know Katsuo's dad. Both my moms say he's an absolutely horrible influence on me. And they're right! *haha!* If anyone knows the first thing about youkai mischief, it's him. And I'm here for it! He always let's me and Katsuo get away with anything, takes us out to do fun stuff, and...nearly gets all arrested sometimes, but that's the fun of it! I heard he and Mom, uh, Sara, used to be friends when they were kids. I'm not really sure if they're friends now.
  
• Naomi: Pro-tip, if she starts mumbling, interrupt her. That usually means she stuck in her own head and won't get out of it for a loooooong time. I just...look I wish she'd just let herself be a kid. It's really admirable and all that she's ready to step into the role she plans to take and all, but...I don't know it's going to be while before that happens. I know she wants to be ready, I just wish she'd let herself enjoy being a bit reckless or dumb sometimes. She needs to have more fun.
  
• Yukari: Sara works pretty close with Yukari's mom. Which means I knew her pretty much from the moment I was born. And what's the word for her? She's kinda spoiled. I mean, being the daughter of the Electro Archon, and all, yeah she was given a lot. But that also means she thinks sometimes she can pull rank even when her name really doesn't mean much. I think she's slowly getting out of that habit, but I say she needs to pick up the pace on it.
  
• Katsuo: My bro! My main man! My- You get the idea. Katsuo is my partner in crime in every sense of the word and I couldn't ask for anyone better to be it. He's an absolute blast to be around and is usually the power behind the ideas I have. We're the brains and brawn squad and together nothing can stop us. Whether it's bothering the Tri-Commissions, scaring the life out of some treasure hoarders or fighting monsters there's no one else I trust more.
