Leviathan

A known demon to mainly the more aquatic species of anthrotropes. He has been known cause ships to sink, whether it be of his own volition or the Captains seeing his irresistible scales driving them mad with envy and give chase to the demon.

Leviathan does protect the main gate to hell which is in a abyss like area in the ocean. Thanks to that he's bio-luminescent in the dark on his side fins, eyes, and throat jewel. His throat jewel known as "Hell's fire" actually allows him to shoot portals to hell for a quick escape and allows him to shoot a firey breath from under water without it extinguishing as quick as a normal dragon's fire breath.

Almost all Otter kind are aware of Leviathan and knowing that essentially hunting him like a whale is not an option. Instead the wariest of sailors would bring priests or even a giant cross for safe travels. Pirates on the other hand usually send a offering in hopes of making sure Leviathan doesn't swim in their direction.
