The killer that the Sole Survivor went up against. Now only exists as a spirit inside of a mask.

Lived in an abandoned campsite on land that his family owned until the government claimed eminent domain for a national park. They refused to let it go and camped out on the land for years, unknown to officials and visitors to the park. His mother was of ill health, and the continued strain took a toll on her, eventually leading to her passing.The remaining members of the family continued to hold a grudge against outsiders, and used their considerable knowledge of the area to hunt and evade them. As time passed and rumors spread about people that went missing there, less and less people showed up, driven away by the possible danger.

Eventually, no one visited there except for the desperate and foolish, uncaring or unmindful of danger. 

One day, a group of teenagers arrived, lured by old tales and half-forgotten rumours...
